为了帮助社会各界了解世界艾滋病日，协助各民间组织策划组织各项活动，促进信息资源的分享，加强合作与协调，避免不必要的重复工作，全国艾滋病信息资源网络(CHAIN)、联合国艾滋病规划署(UNAIDS)共同建立了"2009年世界艾滋病日专栏"。

该专栏下设四个子栏目：
（一）活动纵览，收集整理全国各地的艾滋病活动计划，通过一览表的形式直观呈现给各位同仁，交流活动策划、加强合作与协调；
（二）各地新闻报道，转载媒体对世界艾滋病日和世界艾滋病日活动的相关报道；
（三）动员社区参与世界艾滋病日活动，收集社区在世界艾滋病日前后开展活动的计划。希望这一平台有助于动员社会各界力量共同支持社区组织开展世界艾滋病日活动；
（四）资源库，介绍世界艾滋病运动和世界艾滋病日的由来、历史和既往活动等。
通过这个专栏，我们欢迎各类组织、个人、企业等相互分享本年度艾滋病日的活动计划，交流活动策划的经验与感想；我们也希望这个平台能有助于活动组织者获得更多合作与赞助的机会。同时，通过该论坛的宣传，大众媒体将有机会了解到更多的艾滋病日前后活动情况，也有助于组织活动的各个机构加强宣传教育的影响力度。
我们呼吁各级政府组织、非政府组织、个人和企业积极地参与到世界艾滋病日的活动中来！也号召大家积极地利用这个专栏和平台共享信息、加强合作！

2009 World AIDS Day Column is launched on CHAIN！
1st December is coming, which marks the 22nd World AIDS Day with the theme of "Universal Access and Human Rights".
To improve coordination and collaboration, make use of resources in more effective and efficient ways, avoid overlaps, increase collaboration and mobilize more resources to support civil society organizations, CHAIN, UNAIDS and other interested stakeholders set up 2008 World AIDS Day Column.
You can visit the column via this address: www.chain.net.cn/2009_World_AIDS_Day/, or you can logon via our link on the homepage of CHAIN.
This Column includes 4 parts:
- Activity Summary: a table of the World AIDS Day activity plans. It will encourage the information sharing and wider coverage of the media.
- Media Report: collection from the media during the World AIDS Day.
- Community Mobilization: a platform that civil society organizations can share their plans and get supports of IEC materials from CHAIN. Resource will be mobilized to support the actions the community is taking.
- ResourceCenter: a reference resource with bunch of backgrounds of World AIDS Day and World AIDS Campaign, including the themes and slogans. The theme and slogan of 2007 World AIDS Day will be included here.
