【China AIDS:4849】 Report on AIDS NGOs in Asia

Dear colleagues,

We are working on a short report to document restrictions faced by AIDS and harm reduction NGOs in Asia. This report will include:

1. Restrictions on the legal registration of NGOs

2. Censorship of AIDS and harm-reduction websites

3. Harassment or arrest of staff and outreach workers

The final report will be released to the press, and submitted to UNAIDS, the Global Fund, other UN agencies, and international donors. I hope we can translate it into several languages and that it will be a document we can all use in our own advocacy.

To make the report powerful, we need to collect a lot of evidence, and for that we need your help. Attached is an incident form. You can use that to take down information about cases, or just write us an email at info@asiacatalyst.org. If you prefer to stay anonymous, we can keep your name out of the report. Please send us your information by November 23.
