我在美國墨西哥認識了一些伊朗朋友，甚至一段時間我的室友就是個伊朗人,甚至他们处境。 2008年，我們也一直參與營救伊朗兩位艾滋病醫生兄弟被判刑入獄的活動，只可惜在內賈德專政下的伊朗政府不顧世界艾滋病運動積極分子的呼籲，依然被累计判刑9年。
